9/11 Remembrance Day

I took an assignment today at the Public Safety Academy, a charter school that bases their education on the police and fire service. The school sponsored and took part in a 9/11 Remembrance Day Ceremony and as things go it was a fine event. It was surprising to listen to these young people give speeches and what they remembered about 9/11, including one girl who is inspired to become a firefighter following in the footsteps of her uncle who lost his life as a first responder to the Twin Towers in New York.

And that's all I have to say about that.
