Day 9 - Photo 9. This is Noah (we've met him once), son 2 of 2, child 3 of 3 and Whitney, daughter 1 of 1 and child 1 of 3. And "the hound" Cooper - we've met Cooper too. They are sitting on the floor next to the stove where their mom and my partner, Georgia is preparing dinner. I fell in love with the way Noah was looking at his big sister here. They were just chatting and sharing. And Cooper was hoping food would get dropped.
When I was a young father, I didn't take advantage of enough of these moments. I can see them in my mind's eye. I can describe them here. But, I didn't document enough of them. And I certainly didn't participate in enough of them. I was building my career as a photojournalist. And I spent my time documenting other people's lives, other people's priceless moments. I
t took me time, going to war (and coming home from war) and a really great wife, partner and best friend to help me understand the moments I was missing.

Nicely done - your pics and your writing touch my heart.
That wasn't Sarah, again it was me, Barbie. Gotta figure this out........
I love this pic Rick. Noah's inner energy and love for life seem to shoot from his eyes. Although Whitney's face is not quite visible, she seems to be taking note of the same thing...or I could be completely wrong and she is looking at him as the bothersome little brother! I'll assume its the former
nice work!
cooper looks stuffed.
