Furlough Day Ten...FINI

Furlough Day Ten, FINI:
So, I've been thinking about the whole furlough experience.
For the company, it's just busness, not personal. I get that.
And these past 10 days have served to remind me they're right, it's business. It also reminds me what my father has always said, "At the end of the week...you and the company are even."
It's been a real gift to spend this time with my family.
And at the end of my life, I doubt I'll look back and wish I'd spent more time at the office.

Furlough Day One, Part Two

5:03 p.m. ...close enough! An appropriately named Broken Halo IPA and a hand rolled Honduran Nestor.

Furlough Day One

I have some catching up to do. My intention was to complete a blog post a day during my furlough from work. I've  posted each day on Facebook and will move those posts here.

Since Charlie Sheen wasn't available to party I...
Slept in.
Drank coffee on the patio.
Went for a walk with my friend Barbie.
Stopped and smelled the flowers. And they smelled like freedom!
