My Head is Killing me Today

Day 8 - Photo 8. This is me on bad day. Sometimes I get headaches. I call them migraines. My mom calls them cluster headaches. But...sometimes I get headaches. My general modus operandi is to ignore the headache. I always believe that it will go away. It never does. I ignore it until it (and I) become unmanageable. The only thing that will help is Excedrin. I am like a junky. I have Excedrin stashed in various places like, my car, my desk drawer at work, my camera bag. I believe the headaches are brought on by stress. The news business is a stressful environment. It always has been. Lately, even more so. Finally, I "pop" the Excedrin and I feel myself relax into that familiar pharmaceutical haze. I hate it. That is why I always wait. I think that the headache will go away. Sometimes I get headaches. But, I feel much better now.

I'm impressed that you actually took a photo today, much less posted it. That's dedication and a self-photo is the perfect topic.

Your head is killing you every day. In fact your head is killing me. Did you feed the cats?

My eye can't help but gravitate to the paper in the trash bin. It's good to know that men actually wash and dry their hands after using the bathroom or are you really in the women's restroom?

Yes, men do wash their hands! Well at least I do.

(good) self-portraits are tough. nice work.

looks like you are hiding behind that camera.

it's a personal moment, the bathroom. often used in film, the bathroom mirror is where we check-in on ourselves, reaffirm who we are, whether for our public face or inner thoughts. seeing it from your p.o.v. is a different experience, revealing.

but then that's what this is all about...

that being said, you can't use this shot again, can you? you have many more days ahead.
